1. Language-Linguistics(Abstract Noun) a language (major or minor) that is spoken in an area of a nation or state. It may or may not be the official language of that area, e.g. Assamese, Bangla etc. have the status of both regional and official language in their respective states while Karbi or Missing is a regional but not official language in Assam. কোনো দেশৰ অঞ্চলবিশেষে কোৱা ভাষা৷ সেই ভাষা বিলাক গাইগুটীয়া অঞ্চলৰ মূল ভাষাও হ’ব পাৰে অথবা তেনে ঠাইত প্ৰচলিত বহু ভাষাৰ মাজৰ এটাও হ’ব পাৰে৷ অসমীয়া, তামিল আদি ভাৰতৰ আঞ্চলিক প্ৰধান ভাষা, কিন্তু কাৰ্বি বা তিৱা কেৱল আঞ্চলিক ভাষা৷
